A ‘lengthening through strengthening’ series that will leave your body elongated, engaged and toned. With ankle weights and light hand weights, we’ll stretch and flow through slow, repetitive movement. The use of weights will not only strengthen, but also provide awareness to the muscles engaged in shapes and transitions, thus making you more aware and mindful throughout your traditional yoga practice. Build a strong foundation, then use that strength to move seamlessly and safely through your flows. This is a strengthening (not cardio!) class, we will move slow to facilitate extra length and depth in various yoga poses.
